About

I’m new to blogging (June, 2010); however, I’ve been a reader of many blogs for a long time. I like all types of blogs about running and the blogger doesn’t necessarily have to be fast/elite for me to read about their story. In my case, I’m not an elite by any means. I’m just a husband, father of two, business owner, and government investigator, trying to run a sub 3 hour marathon at some point in my life.

This blogging idea materialized last year after I turned 40, hence the name of the blog. I kept putting it off again and again, until this year. I am set to run the Chicago Marathon on October 10, 2010, and this blog will chronicle my training, as well as other tidbits along the way. This blog is certainly not an advertisement as to how great I am or how fast I am, because I am neither. It’s just about a guy trying to run as fast as I can with the time that I have. Hopefully, the blog will keep me motivated and, perhaps, something will be learned along the way. Enjoy!
